COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Fire Management 1 is a 40-hour course designed to prepare and/or enhance the first time supervisor’s ability to supervise subordinates. It introduces key management concepts and practices utilized in the California Fire Service. The course includes discussions about decision making, time management, leadership styles, personnel evaluations and
counseling guidelines.
All
classes are filled on a first come first served basis.

Cancellation Terms: Full
refunds (minus credit card processing fees) will be given if
cancellation notice is received within 20 days
of the class. Cancellation after the cut-off date will result in
students receiving a 50% refund. Students that cancel on or after the
1st day of class will not receive a refund. Paying for this class
constitutes agreeing to these terms.
