Certification: CSFM FSTEP S-290 Certificate and NWCG S-290 Certificate

Description: This is a classroom-based skills course designed to prepare the prospective fire line supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations. It is the second course in a series that collectively serves to develop fire behavior prediction knowledge and skills. Fire environment differences are discussed as necessary; instructor should stress local conditions.

Prerequisites: S-190 Basic Wildland Fire Behavior

All classes are filled on a first come first served basis.

Cancellation Terms: Full refunds (minus credit card processing fees) will be given if cancellation notice is received within 20 days of the class. Cancellation after the cut-off date will result in students receiving a 50% refund. Students that cancel on or after the 1st day of class will not receive a refund. Paying for this class constitutes agreeing to these terms.
